Your customers have thoughts, and most of them get lost. Support sees it in a ticket, sales hears it on a call, and product reads it in Slack, but nobody notices it's the tenth time this month. Engineering gets a ticket with half the context missing. When the fix finally ships, the customer who asked never hears back.
Modem is building the customer product graph for software teams. We pull in what customers say across support, chat, and sales calls, group it into topics, and link each one to the issues and PRs fixing it. That way every team, and every agent, can find, fix, and follow up on every customer concern.
Our customers include developer tools companies, AI startups, and consumer apps. We raised $4.4M led by Accel, with Inovia Capital, plus angels from Sentry, Cohere, Vercel, and Framer. The team is small, and you'd work directly with the founders.
Who we're looking for
As our Content Marketer, you'll be the first person at Modem whose job is telling our story. That story is a new one. "Customer graph" and "context for agents" aren't categories most people have heard of yet, and a big part of your job is making them concrete and obvious. Our readers are product, engineering, support, and sales people at software companies. They're busy and skeptical, so you write things they actually want to read.
What the work looks like
You'll own Modem's content engine, from the website to social to our podcast, and you'll help shape how Modem sounds.
